Hey guys, anyone got any experience with one of these ESCs? We tried to make a change to the brake which we did and now it wont arm no matter what we do. Any ideas?? Its a E-flite 30A Pro Switch-Mode BEC Brushless ESC like in a Apprentice.
Thanks, T
Maybe when you attempted to change the brake setting you accidentally re-calibrated the throttle end points so that the ESC is no longer seeing a slosed throttle signal which it needs to arm.
I'd try running the rough the throttle calibration routine, thgis doesnt appear to be in the manual but the usual method is to open the Tx throttle fully before plugging in the plane's battery (as if programming the ESC).. As soon as the ESC/motor beeps close the throttle fully. You should if the routine has worked now get the usual arming tone and the ESC is ready to use.
