For me he was too close at the start, but i could be wrong, looks like a flybar strike with the blades that brought him down. Nice heli

Looked like the mains contacted the tail rotors to me. Can clearly see they are busted up and stopped immediately after the tail snaps around. Either contact with the mains or the tail drive gave out.

It looked like the vertical fin contacted something, but everything just stopped so quick, so sad.

Boom strike to throttle hold. It appeared he got throttle hold real quick.

Huh. Doesn't seem the mains could have reached the tail fin or rotors... Maybe the tail ate itself, exploding the fin off it?

Unless the flybar paddle got thrown off and hit it?
