my first inverted mcpx flights

I finally got my daughter to come with me to the park to take some video (she is 9, and her commentary is her own). It was an odd day in southwest minnesota with 2mph winds in the afternoon. And anyway, here is my first sustained inverted flights. You even get to hear me bribe her one dollar to go get my crashed bird)) Also it is totaled after the third video. Broken tail boom, and the canopy is shot!!! no more packing tape can fix it.

Nice job on the flying, and its on video. That just happened!!! Envious. The commentary was enjoyable. Thanks for the smiles. Sorry about the hard landing, but parts are cheap thankfully.

ya the hard landing on the first video wasn't that bad, I realized I was losing it, so I hit throttle kill, and let it fall it was after the third video where I crashed it good, and I don't know why she stopped filming.

Doing good, keep up the pratice. I cant flip yet bird is to big for my nervs.

its funny, first we learn "tail in hover" than "tail out hover" where everything is reversed, than inverted flight where it's upside down, and backwards I think.... not sure yet

Thanks Murankar. ya, it doesn't make me all that nervous to flip, and crash this one... I have crashed it no less than 6,483.2 times its durable, and not that expensive to fix.

My 450 gets expensive even with the "cheap" parts. I have been lucky though, the last few weeks I have been able to get airborne without issue. The other day [thursday] I braved ff and then made a right turn, what next, got nervous and almost lost it so I landed. Now I need it to stop raining so I can go back out.

It's almost worth it of the bird breaks after you do a new maneuver and it goes well! Lol

Awesome flying. The funny thing is i was almost thinking of flying my 450 inverted today but i havent even ran it in idle up mode yet. Keep it up and have fun with the repairs. sometimes i think the repairs are so exciting lol.

Yes they are, except that wait peroid for the threadlocker to cure. But with the mcpx once its fixed you go fly.
