New to the hobby and lost at how to setup and configure this RX with my first foam plane and Futaba. Can anyone point me in the right direction

Unfortunately I don't know anything about the Futaba Tx's. @Geena, can you help Scot out on this one? And Scot, can you post what Tx you have? Might make things easier.
 
I found some channel assignment information today and powered through my manual ( Futaba FASST 8FG). I'm working on a basic airplane setup. Will try to get it to bind.

This receiver is wired to my Skookum 720BE. Most of my adjustments are made in the Skookum. A few other adjustments are made in the TX (Futaba 14SG).
