I'm trying to figure out if the tires and rims from a 2.5 will fit a 3.3.

This I am not sure of and don't have the 3.3 to test. But you would need to measure the hex and compare it to the wheels that you are looking for. I think the 2.5 is a 17mm if I remember correctly.

Ok. After reading that, it seems that I need to make sure the hex fits whatever wheels I want to get.

On that note, do the smaller hex hubs fit the 3.3? I need to shoot an email to traxxas...

Yea, because I'm not sure if they used the same size output axles on both trucks lol.

Hello,

Swapping the hex will allow you to run the wheels. The axles are the same.
