Yeah, I would go through the whole truck beside the motor. Bearing, linkage and so on just to be on the safe side.

I have an extra Servo but it's plastic gear all I have to do for now

I found the issue it was my humpback battery luckily ordered extra battery holder for a different project
I guess back to regular batteries

Get rid of those bad batteries. It's cheaper buying a new battery then buying a new home if one of those battery decides to catch fire especially if you're not around to notice it.

yeah I thought it was safer to go back to regular batteries. what ran into an issue with the battery pack the wires are a bit longer than usual

last night I ran into an issue with the motor mount
one of the motor mount threads are no longer there
I think I'll replace the whole entire motor mount

to clarify one of the motor mount threads is messed up

Yeah better off getting a new motor mount rather than trying to rethread the old one especially for a nitro vehicle.
