450 470L Carbon Fiber Tail Linkage Rod

Does anyone know or could measure the total length of the 470L Carbon Fiber Tail Linkage Rod? From end to end of the links. I am considering installing it on the Goosky RS4, as the original one is very fragile. Thank you.

It may not be that simple ... ie just the base model number. There are several 470L models some have the torq tube ( aka drive shaft ) and some have a belt drive. So the linkage rod ( or rods ) may also vary in length depending on which specific model you are looking at. I only used the torq tube as an example of the possible differences you may find.

If you can slip a metal tube over the linkage rod and glue it in place, you may be able to stiffen the one you already have... as an alternate solution. Not having an example to look at, I'm uncertain if that is even a valid suggestion but at least it is a consideration.

In the end, I bought a Trex 500 tail rod , cut a piece off, and reassembled it by gluing the ball link with epoxy. I believe it turned out safer than the original solution from Goosky, which used an M1.6 screw to hold it.
