So I went thru two batteries yesterday learning my FFF. Low and behold, as soon as i hit my TH to auto (at 2' only) the whole heli starts to shake in mid air. The damm jesus bolt was missing. of course the heli landed in one piece but do you believe that. now what in the world would cause that. Well for starters the head that came with the bird was not an actual jesus bolt but a full thread type. the nut was teflon and for extra measure..kids do not do this at home, i put blue locktite.
I live in guam that has two i mean two LHS that does not cater to heli's, believe it or not.
So with out the jesus bolt i am hesitant to put another bolt and have it come off at 30 or 40 feet in the air. Any ideas people? what about stainless?
this mean's no flight time.
