I recently purchased and returned a Spektrum NX7e TX. Today I received a stern but not so nice e-mail from A Main Hobbies return specialist J Hunter stated my TX has been used and 51 mins. Flight is recorded on it. The TX NEVER even seen the outside of my office, no less airtime or any RC vehicle action. I got my refund back as a one time exception. They don't have to worry about me ordering from them again. I don't like being called a lair in a round about way. Thanks but no, thanks A Main Hobbies. I'll take my money and run. :censored: My :2c:

I've seen the same type of issue reported about computer products bought from NewEgg as well. It's assumed they get a return that tests ok and they then repackage them to sell as new, which is actually illegal if they are caught. In another situation, the product actually had tracking on the product showing it had even been returned to the manufacturer and was returned to them as a damaged item that couldn't be repaired or covered under the actual warranty, NewEgg then resold it even with the RMA information stickers still on the product. That client was also accused of damaging the product but didn't know that client had photo evidence proving otherwise.

The point I guess is that this happens in many companies and often the customer is the one that takes the brunt of it.

I used to do lots of business with Amain but not so much anymore. I could see that happening though. You would think they have to run though all kinds of test for an hour or so. Like a new car has 5 or 10 miles on it right....
