beginner

hey I'm new to this rc hobby ..I want a nitro car but I don't know what to get an how to go about it ? what I'm really trying to ask is would it be cheaper to build or buy ready to go ..if I build a nitro car where can I buy the kit from or if I bought it already to go where can I buy it at for a lil cheap

It will be much cheaper to purchase an RTR if you are just getting started. You can do this for about $250 for most low end nitro's. If you want the best of the best though, then you would want to build it. It just depends on how much time you have, how much you want to work on it and how much you want to spend.

Lets start with, do you want to start with a monster truck, stadium truck, 1/8th scale buggy or onroad?

There are a lot of kits out there. From Team Associated, Team Losi, and all of the others. Need to know what you are wanting as stated in the other thread. Monster Truck, Stadium Truck, 1/8th scale... Let us know and we will get you links.

I would say, since you are just getting started, get an RTR and learn how to tune them. Tuning is very important. IMO, the Traxxas T-Maxx would be best suited for what you are looking for.
