This past weekend out here in Bolingbrook, IL, we had Clow Airport's 11th anual "Cavalcade of Planes. It grows every year and is a lot of fun for a Saturday/Sunday weekend. Last year they had a B2 bomber do a flyover (it's at the end of this video). The museum at Clow has been adding vintage aircraft. This video is a collection of clips of various civilian and military planes and helicopters (some flying).

Tony! Pay close attention because there is an A4 skyhawk that needs your attention :)

Notice around 3:30 in the video, we have Lee performing without water :yikes:

This is a yearly event around the first weekend in June. Clow is on Weber Road about 3 miles north of I55 :)

For you it would be easy to come I-80 west to I-355 north to I-55 south to Weber north. It's about a 45 min. ride from the Hammond area. Actually, check out Clow's website, because I believe they have events every first weekend of the summer, not as big as this, but I seem to remember free rides for kids under 17.
