Hello everyone!
I have the chance to buy a helicopter " Tarot 450 Pro V2 FBL" with no electronics " Motor,Esc,servos,Rx,Tx" for around $140.00 bucks. I like to know if anyone heard good or bad things about Tarot helis and if this is a good price to pay for it? All information will be helpful!
Thanks everyone for past help! :)

Tarot is an Align clone manufacturer. One of the better ones from what I hear, but still a clone. $140 is no deal. Quick search online found them for $130 new. Once you get a motor, ESC, Rx/FBL, servos, etc. you'll probably be into it for anywhere from $250 to $500 depending on what you get.

It will be cheaper to just buy the combo kit. Just like Align you buy the combo its like getting the air frame free. If this is going to be a "beater" heli for learning it would be a good option. I have only read stuff on this brand and it appears to be the "Best" of the clones, I can not confirm this.

Thanks for answering pvolcko. I have all the electronics for this clone so it will only cost to buy the frame. $130.00 is better then $140. Were did you see this?

For the price i really can't go wrong if i have all the electronics. I'm waiting for Santa to bring me Align 450 Dominator. Till then i thought this might work for the time being.

Here is the link to the Tarot website:

Tarot RC Helicopters

I have a Youtube buddy that has several Tarot helicopters and he loves them. Click on the link and browse the "Helicopter Kit" section. There are many options to choose from and the prices aren't real bad.

Thanks for 411 on web site. I figure since i have back up electronics that this heli wouldn't be bad for a clone.

i just did a google search on tarot 450 pro v2 and hit some of the links. If you're getting it locally, then you'll be saving shipping so your price is in line with what's out there. Might we worth doing a little digging to see if you can come up with a better price or even a used one, depending on what you're looking for this to be/do.

Tarot's website is quoting $140 for a pro v2 fbl bare bones, unless its used I dont think it will get cheap enough to make a big difference.
