Prop DR1 Red Baron Scratch build.

For those of you that know me as a Heli guy. I have also built a few planes. This was my favourite one i built last winter in Cape Town South Africa.
I used 6mm Depron and kids red finger paint. The supports and landing gear are all made from tongue depressors from the pharmacy.
I took a few plan view shots from the internet and printed it out, then scaled them up using a ruler and a calculator
It flew so well. Very slow stall speed and very scale in its characteristics.
Unfortunately it wasn't possible to bring it back to Spain with me, so i gave it to a good home.

That plane is awesome!! What do you mean by "I gave it to a good home"?

He covered it in gas, lit it on fire, and flew it over the ocean while it was laid to rest.

Took a lot of pink color markers to get that color too!!

I left it to a friend along with all my other planes. It was affectionately known as the Pink Baroness
