Hi all, finally getting around to the giant Align E1 Plus build. I have some pictures. I have to say this thing was definitely designed for lifting heavy loads. The top bearing block has a double radial bearing rather than just one. The frame is 82mm wide and the bottom plate is solid aluminum and 6mm thick. Also has the tin main shaft. Pretty cool. I will continue to update the progress.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's bigger than I thought!! Don't even think the real birds will want to be around this beast. They might think this "Bird of Prey" is after them:nevreness:

The motor is a 950MX. It's a 4540 size. They recommend a 200amp ESC. I have a 250 cool Kosmik. The tail boom supports are thick aluminum blocks sandwiched between the skids and the bottom plate. Very solid

Rotor head ready. I forgot to take a picture before I assembled it. I wanted to show it has a double radial bearing at the end of each grip. So, three radial bearings and the thrust bearing on each side. The tail assembly is something I haven't seen before. It's a closed box with a grease plug on the side you can access though the frame. I guess these things operate in some dusty conditions.

The kit you have, does it have the agricultural equipment?

This is the same helicopter without all their electronics. The “ready to fly” version is much like flying a drone.

Just found Align E1 on You Tube. Part 1 is about using it for spraying crops. Part 2 about the build. I can see why it's so expensive. It's huge for a pod and boom heli.:agree:
