HOWDY!!

I am a noob... almost have FP heli's down... almost.. lol... CCPM is a pain, and intimidating... It takes time to learn.. But also costs you money in repairs...

I know people want free stuff for the time being when they cant really buy something.. Atleast i do.. I know FMS is peice of junk... I am telling you its awful... but if u want something for the time being, something that will get you started into sims, easy to setup, and use, but not as detailed physics as clearview and not as good of experience, use HeliSim RC. its free, and very easy to setup.. Tony , i guess had a taste of clearview so he didnt like it... lol.. i understand.. but I am a little on the cheap side, and had tried FMS, Helisim is soooo much better.

DO TRY IT OUT.. BUT bottom line... save 40 bucks ... look under the couch cushion, collect pennies... i donno.. something... but, get yourself a good paid sim, they cost because they are worth.. and as I have read here and in many other posts, Clearview is the BANG for THE BUCK deal! its awesome! well.. i dont have it yet, but believe me, i will.. :) :)

I just didn't like the way it felt. Just didn't seem like "I" was flying the heli for some reason. But, will work fine for those that don't have the money for Clearview, Phoenix, or Real Flight 5.5.

Yeah i just bought clearview its awesome and very realistic! But try putting a dollar in a jar every time you crash to help with bad simulator habits.

I couldn't do that. I would be broke and rich at the same time...... hahaha

I don't have either bad good or bad simulator habits ... haven't been flying long enough to figure out which is which! Clearview is pretty awesome though :biggrin1:

Try Helix,
I have phoenix, and it isnt much different, I fly RC Helis also, and wasnt to thrilled about the hi priced sims.
The reality of Ph, and flyin a real RC heli,(setup is really important) is way offline,
I can do everything 3d in the sims, but on the RC Heli, a way different story.
I think ya cant do to much (real like practice) on a sim, But ya get the hang of it.

In my Eyes, Flyin a Heli in real life is more a money question, Who wants to whip off the ground and piro into the sky, and than do a flip and a rainbow
Than Inverted, almost hit the ground ,cut some grass,(Would make a cool way to mow the lawn though) than whip a BAD flip to a perfect landing.

I cant do that,...

I will have to try 3d myself though, Cuttin the grass on Saturdays would become an event, if ya do it with a heli.

Yall take care.

Yes FMS is free and it's suck . learview is much better .. I don,t know for you guys , I already try FMS , clear view , phoenix . I can do invert in simulator . But in real life ..I can not .. not dare .
It's diffrent flying in sim and in real life . I did not feel the tense , adrenaline , but in real life I do. Sim it's like watching xxx porn .. you get the idea ... but you can,t smelt it .
