Cars glow plug

hi guys,
was just wondering what the colour of the "glow" should be? a brightish orange or yellow? or that hot its near white??

It will be a light red, close to becoming white. But, not white because that will blow it up.

Ahh so my glow starter is stuffed! Cause I'm charging it full cycle but only getting a bright ish orange glow off the glow plug! Cheers tony ill replace it and go from there.
