Well here goes my next project. . I am painting this for my buddy that i just painted the GMC dually body fors wife's HPI savage nitro... it will have pink and purple true fire flames among other graphics here is the start. ..

Ok here is an update all patterns traced on outer shell. And second coat of liquid mask applied. ..

MAN !!!! it has been awhile since i posted on this well here is the rather long update mostly due to the number of photos i have to load up and there is alot it is almost done only have the flames to do and the marble main paint job... there is like 30 photos i think it is looking pretty good and i will try to explain each set of photos what i did.. here goes first i did the baby blue metal flake for the outline of all the faces..
then i added the lime pearl createx paint

next i pealed the mask to lay the faskoat pearl with blue tint for the faces

next i layed in the silver for the suirrel and the mouse and also the pink for the ears

next you can't really tell in the pics but the eyes and mouths are painted with fasglo glow in the dark paint

next i sprayed the tangerine pearl orange and red pearl for the parking lights and brake lights

next is the chrome pink headlights black in the front grill and transparent purple with spazstix mirror chrome behind all the purple and headlights backed with plain black which turned out better then i thought it would

the last body photo is of the sunroof cut out and the sides of the rear window around the face to allow airflow down through the sunroof and out the rear window for the nitro engine

and this photo shows what the main body color will be after the flame are added the colors are magenta pink pearl and charcoal black metallic together for the marble effect..

Nice liquid mask use there buddy. I have learned alot just from your above pictures. It's gonna be the cutest basher out there.

thanks it is for my neighbors wife HPI savage nitro she is a big hello kitty nut the flames i will be laying down before i do the marble effect are going to be either pink purple & blue realistic flames or just pink and purple i am finishing up my flame templates still they are almost ready then i will start laying the thanks i am glad i could help you out.. the smaller c-10 chevy body i got stripped down i will be using xxxmain lexan glue to incorporate justice league characters and theme into it

Well she is done i have video of the body actually on the nitro truck but having trouble getting them off my phone as soon as i can get it i will upload it looks way better in the video.. but in the meantime here are some photos...

those photos still have the protective film on the outer shell i wanted to let her peel them off when the body was done she really liked it allot so i was happy she did.. will snap couple photos of it with decals on it and the film off it looks way better...

You nailed the flames there bud! I like the contour over the headlamps. Great job on the marbling too.

Oh trust me she is. She said it turned out way better then she expected. .. she she was snapping photos and shot a video to post to her Facebook. .. lol
