This may be a little long winded, but I thought I would introduce myself and give some back story about what got me into the hobby.
It started a long, long time ago in a hobby shop called Circus Hobbies in Las Vegas. We used to race our RC-10 at their dirt track and I would always admire the helicopters hanging in the store there. From that point I dreamed of having and flying them. Fast forward a few years to about 2002 and I picked up my first helicopter, the Esky Honey Bee FP. Well long story short and lots of parts later I gave up. Following graduation another 6 years later I picked up another Esky. This time it was the Lama V3 which I found much easier to fly and was really fun, but didn't bank too well and hated the wind so that one retired early. After that I thought I was finished with the hobby until a couple of Syma S107's popped up during Christmas one year. After flying those and getting hooked again I started looking for another fixed pitch of which the Blade 120 SR fit the bill. From that point on I have developed a bit of a problem as I cannot seem to stop buying various copters and parts along the way in this journey. Who knows what will happen next, but I have my eyes on the newer DFC helicopters as my journey from coaxial, to FP to Flybar to Flybarless has been great and with each advance the handling and stability is just amazing.
I'll wrap it up with a big thanks to RC-Help as they have been instrumental in the steep learning curve I have tackled over the last year with both flybar setups as well as flybarless programming. Thank you all and have fun flying.
A couple of pictures of some of my fleet as well as some I have sold already.
P.S. My name is Ben and I am here to admit I have a problem.
