450 Ikon governor

So, I've got my Ikon installed on my trex 450 now. Pretty clean install, much cleaner than the 3GX in my opinion. I have everything setup on it now except for the governor. Is it really necessary to have it set up of a 450? If it needs to be setup, anyone have some suggestions? Running a dx6i for tx right now.

Set up curves and go fly! Governor is not necessary on such a small motor by my opinion.

nope for a 450 size with align stock everything, no governor is required. just like Marius said, setup your curves just like you had them for 3GX and GO FLY!

Thanks guys. I know that the governor is important on larger helis, but was wanting to be sure with the 450s.

Go fly I don't even use a Gov on my 600.
