450 Issues with Goosky RS4 Assembly - Fragile Parts

Hi everyone,

I’d like to share some issues I’ve faced while assembling the Goosky RS4. Unfortunately, I’ve already had to purchase two replacement parts due to problems encountered during the build.

  1. Issue with Ball Link (GT020084):
While tightening the Ball Link on the servo arm, the plastic piece broke before I even installed the lock nut. It snapped during the process of threading it into the plastic, which seems very fragile for such a critical component.
  2. Issue with Tail Rod Links (GT020044):
Today, I experienced another issue while assembling the tail rods. One of the tail rod links worked as expected—I managed to tighten it without problems. However, when assembling the other one, the screw responsible for securing the link broke before it could even lock. The screw snapped with minimal effort, and the broken piece got stuck inside the link.
So far, I’ve spent over R$400,00 on replacement parts, including shipping and taxes. This has been frustrating and disappointing. The components in this kit seem too fragile for their intended purpose, which is not acceptable.

I’m especially concerned about the tail link, as these small screws are failing even before the helicopter is flown. It’s hard to imagine this setup holding up under real usage.

Is anyone else experiencing similar issues? I’d love to hear your thoughts or suggestions on how to resolve this.

Thanks!
