Hello All,
We live in Berkshire UK and ive been into RC for about 10 years or so. Lots of F3A flying with both electric and IC Models and have only recently got involved in Helicopters.
My first Rotary was the T-Rex 450. This was some years ago and that spent most of its time on my bench whilst i repaired it. This time however im determined to keep as many original parts as possible.
I am off work long term sick so looked for a project. I felt the Trex 500 DCF Pro would fit the bill. to build and understand the 3GX would keep me busy and this is where i'm at not.
Pretty stable hovers, lots of time with the Phoenix flight sim and am looking forward to meeting a few guys from the club ive just joined.
Lots of very useful information on this site,a nd thanks to all for your posts. This is definatley a hobby whereby you want to learn from other peoples mistakes/observations!
Already ive learned that My C Of G was so far out it belonged to another county, and i need to have a look at the cyclic gains to help off set some of the drift im experiencing when moving the tail.
So Thanks and i hope to be able to make some contributions of my own some time soon......
