up Berry Hill at the weekend....... nice big open space looking down on the city.
took my easy star and walrus to have a fly.............
dumb thumb....... moving the elevator.. either the throttle goes up or down......... this time it went down,, never noticed and lost power...
but the ground gained a lot of speed and came up and hit my plane.....
just once please just once let me take it back home in one piece.......

Hi Anthony, bad luck on the crash but at least you have worked out what caused it, a bit of foam safe glue and your back in the air not like the balsa and wrap models of old, I've seen people take two months to build a model only to totally destroy it on launch. Aeromodelling has greatly improved over the years with the introduction of Electric Motors, Foam planes and LiPo batteries. Glue it up and get back out there, you will get your day when you bring everything home unbroken, I still enjoy that feeling when it happens which is rarely I normally take 5 or 6 models out and something comes back bent.
