Just walked out the back of my workshop and was confronted with this.
A bit overcast but note the wildlife at the centre of the pic.

Gotta love where I live.
The black and blue one on the grass is a Pukeko.
The method of cooking is to put it in a pot and boil it with a rock until the rock is tender.
Then throw away the bird and eat the rock.
Not sure about the ones on the boat.
I think they are Pied Cormorant or something.
