Hey guys,

I came across this forum after watching a few of Tony's great/awesome videos on youtube. I got into this hobby about 2 years ago but I always loved RC's since i was little I just couldn't afford them back then

Well right now I'm messing with both Planes and Helis. I currently have the infamous DX8 (mode2) for my radio and the below helis/planes:

Helis: Mcx2 & Msrx (want to get the Nano CPx as my first CP heli once I'm more confident)
Planes: Parkzone's Night Vapor (I got this slow flyer as my intro 3 channel airplanes)

I also have a Hobby Lobby Yak-55 which needs to be assembled, I bought this 3 years ago but never had the time to build it or even start on it. But hopefully soon with some spare time and all the required parts. I might just get ( E-flights UMX - As3xtra ) which comes assembled and will be released in December.

I will be asking a lot of questions since I'm a newbie to many of the terms and techniques but I'm a fast learner.

Salute
Lee

Welcome to the forum Lee! Sounds like you have a nice little collection there. If there is anything we can help with, all you have to do is post up. I'm still trying to get back in the swing of things, been pretty hectic here lately. Make sure to post some pictures of your fleet!

Welcome to the forum!

nCPX is a nice heli, but make sure to have a space you can crash in. In other words a decent sized basement, garage (with no expensive car in it), or rec room. Not your living room or dining room or something. You will crash and it will do a bit of scratch damage, or worse. I actually cut the leather on one of my theater room chairs with mine in the early going. The blades spin fast and they will leave a mark. It is also very sensitive, make sure to set it up with lots of expo on the transmitter. It isn't the ideal heli to learn CP on, but being up in Michigan and heading into the winter you gotta do what you gotta do. :)
