Hey guys has anyone done a nitro to electric conversion??
If so how hard is it? I can get a kit then get motor and esc after to install, any help would be great.

It's a 1/8 hsp bazooka I can get the brushless conversion kit, everything but the motor, battery and esc,I want it to fly! The seller says the kit can handle a motor of a can size of 36mm, is that good or bad? I'm going from an .28 nitro so what's the equivalent in electric performance? I love this site!!!!

Also can I use lipo or normal batteries with a brushless setup?

You can use either, but I highly recommend the lipo, you get a much better punch and run time.
I'm running my 1/8 HPI Flux SC on 4S and the thing moves.
Can size shouldn't be a problem, most of them having a quick look are 36mm.
I'm running a 2350kv motor in mine. Mine is 4wd also, and I can get it to do doughies in dirt and semi loose stuff, and it will still break traction on the road.
So you wont have too many issues getting power out of the electric system.
I do want to set mine up so that it is capable of taking a 6s batter system, but just waiting until i can afford more spare parts, cos i'll need them lol

hey Walter sorry hadn't seen much on this post and haven't been here much.
Mate there are many places you can look. I'm not that familiar with the tmaxx... how much did you want to spend on the conversion? That's probably the first place to start
