Flight Stabilizers Spektrum As3x

Using AR9350 AS3X receiver with a 4 servo wing. The plane is a Turbo Bushmaster. The programming is the issue or at least part of it. I’m using a Bluetooth connection to my iPad Pro for programming. Keeping a connection is a sporadic issue. Never understood why one time it works as expected and the next time I’m dropped in one or two minutes. I do have some programming done, but bare essentials. No flight modes or mixes. Having problems binding the receiver. I’m using a dedicated receiver battery. Yes, I’m reasonably sure my radio channel selection agrees with the receiver. I’m using the default channel assignment. I’d appreciate any ideas.

USB connection is the answer. I’ve learned the iPad generally connects on the second try. Thanks for the info. Any experience with Mixes? The app has a different way of designating a slave and its master. I got my mixes to work using an AR8000 receiver. I have 4 servo wing and I want to have full wing ailerons and flaps.
