where can I get just the E clips instead of ordering #1633?? I tried ordering associated #25243 5mm E clips. Those are a bit too think to go into the slot on the shaft.
I would ether sand down the ones that you purchased, or just order that pack. I tried searching, and those are the only two options that I came up with.
If it were me, that is what I would do. Use wet/dry paper and some water. Will make for an almost mirror smooth finish. You might want to sand down just a little further than needed and hit them with some paint. They will rust.
