Really for a 450 sized heli anything I've 50 amps is not needed. If you use the standard 450mx motor by align then a 40 amp esc will work.

A 12 channel rx is going to be huge. It may not fit in the frames. I have a 9 channel that does not fit and an 8 channel that does.

Going with align electrics is a great choice. For the most part they are reliable and sturdy. They can take some punishment. As for the 3gx don't be to surprised if it does not work right away. People have been having issues with the fbl system. Some 3gx folks have moved on to microbeast, ikon and possibly Bavarian Demon.

Good luck and keep us posted as to your progress.

hi again I want to ask you what Pitch curves and throttle curve to use on my transmitter for setup 3gx in first time
what is a linear curve and what is 50 in and 50 out on the throttle mid stick ???

in my first 450 heli to setup 0% pitch I use idle up 1 in mid stick (idle up 2 is the same idle up 1 setting)
how to do it in 3gx for first time ??? in normal mode or idle up 1

and can I use dual rate and expo on 3gx ???

The settings are :

at FUNCTION tab, go to REVSW > ALL THE channels are NORM

at FUNCTION tab, go to DREXP > Channel RUDD, POS 0, DR : 100%, EXP is Linear, rest remain untouched.

at FUNCTION tab, go to THCRV > SRVHD YES > MODE NORM, EXP ON

I wish I could be of more assistance. I have very little knowledge of the 3GX system. Here is what I can tell you:

Throttle Curves (I will list three: Normal, ID1 and ID2 [you may not have an ID2])

Normal: 0 40 75 75 75 (you can play around with the 75 number to give yourself the headspeed you want in the end.)
ID1: 70 70 70 70 70 (same as with normal these numbers can be adjusted to suite your needs)
ID2: 80 80 80 80 80 (You may not have an ID2 if you do then use these numbers.)

Pitch Curves
Normal: 45 47.5 50 75 100
ID1 and ID2 0 25 50 75 100

D/R and Expo

I am not sure on how to start you off here. I ham currently doing a massive upgrade to my kit and these numbers will be changing for me. you probable could start somewhere in the area of 35% D/R and 75% Expo. If that is feeling to sluggish around center stick then reduce the D/R by 5% until you get the feeling you like.

Hi, I noticed your 'pitch'curve settings,..i have a devo 7 tx also .but the pitch curve 'values' are -16 to +55, the values you show don't indicate 'minus' or 'plus' values! Can you please explain were the 'minus' and 'plus' values go? Thanks!
