A SEL and a Titanium model since both had black leather and everything else had either a light tan ( they called sandstone ) or a slightly darker but not by much grey ( I think they called it earth tone, why a gray is called that is beyond me ). Both have built in NAV instead of having to rely on my smartphone for that feature.
My Ford Escape failed on me again this morning... so things didn't start off very good at all. My folks had offered to help out with funding the last time it died on me... so I took them up on the offer. I still need a mid sized SUV since I take the ex-GF to her doctor appointments and trying to wedge a wheelchair into a trunk isn't something anyone should have to put up with. After looking over the options of the Toyota Rav4, Honda CR-V and the Ford Escape, then watching over a batch of reviews... I stayed with the Ford Escape. My Dad met me at the Ford dealer and we looked around at the different offerings. We ended up choosing between two... A SEL and a Titanium model since both had black leather and everything else had either a light tan ( they called sandstone ) or a slightly darker but not by much grey ( I think they called it earth tone, why a gray is called that is beyond me ). They both looked really nice and we ended up going with the Titanium because of the hybrid package it came with. The mileage ratings are 44mph city and 37 hwy... it'll probably take 5 years to make up the difference in gas since the other one was rated at 27mph city and 33 hwy. Both have built in NAV instead of having to rely on my smartphone for that feature.
