The newer unit has two LEDs, one for each channel and nicer control knobs..Ok, here comes a question: If it's known of course,,, Why does the controller use Pulse Width Modulation on the output to control the heater straps??I thought it would be a simple heater wire with a thermostat to control the heater straps. Wrong again! Ha!!So what's the scoops on this?... Anybody?Oh, being as though I'm kinda a clutsso as I get older, I added a nice LED marker light system to the tripod's feet too...
