My first 3D printer was the Ender 3 Pro. I have not done much to it other than installed a new main board to quiet the stepper motors, installed a BL Touch, a glass bed and a touch screen (I think that's it). But now that I have my X1C, I don't use it anymore. It's in my office closet on the shelf collecting dust because I could not for the life of me get it to stick a print. I finally tossed it in the closet then a while later, ordered the X1C.
I think the main downside to this printer is the way it tries to hold the 3 axis. It's rubber wheels (flexible) on extruded aluminum, which is not exactly straight. After I got my X1C, I did some research on putting dual Z screws on it and converting everything to linear rails, but WOW is that expensive to do. Will it fix my issues? I'm almost sure it will. But the cost is high enough that I could just get an A1 and have a faster, better printer.
So my question is, what should I do with this printer? What are your thoughts/options for it?
