When I ordered my X1C, it came with some "Support For PLA" and I tried it, and that stuff was HORRIBLE at making supports. Little did I know, I was using it wrong. This stuff is only supposed to be used as a layer (usually 2 layers) between the support and the item being printed. When I used it as an interface material, it worked brilliantly! On a part that would have been a nightmare to pull the support out of, it pretty much fell off. And since it is right up against the overhang, the surface finish if the part is much nicer! This can also be done with PETG as well since PLA and PETG don't bond together, and it's cheaper as well compared to the Support For PLA.
So who here uses interface material, and what do you use? PETG for PLA, PLA for PETG, PLA for TPU?
