finally getting my T-Maxx Pro 15 ready to run again for like the second or third time I think

Nice! Be sure to swap that right rear and left front, they are on wrong. Just swap the two around.

I noticed the axle on my tmaxx there is a little bit of play in the shaft
none of the axles on it have any shams

Not sure why you reported my post, but for the axles, they may be worn out and need to be replaced.

does the driveshaft normally have shim

It depends. You use shims if you need to remove any slop.

T-Maxx engine stalls outat mid-to-high throttle and wheels are off the ground is not engine stalls out

The high speed needle is either too rich, or too lean. If there is a lot of smoke, then it's rich, lean it out. If there is little smoke, it is lean. Richen it up.

That engine sounds lean on the bottom. Reset back to factory carb specs.

the low speed table is level carburetor arm

Maybe you need a glow plug if you have not changed it in a while. Glow plugs can cause all kinds of weird issues when they have age on them. The engine doesn't sound happy though. Carb could have a small piece of trash in it causing the lean condition. I'm just not sure since I'm not there with it. If it were mine, I first would reset everything back to factory specs, make sure the carb is perfectly clean and replace the glow plug.

It was the clutch shoes and spring clutch spring I came apart
