General Aomway Flat Antenna

I found this on amazon. I thought I'd ask about it due to the claim of 13dbi. I wonder if the claim is accurate...???

If you get it, I would be interested in seeing the inside of it. I know the one that comes with the goggles is crap. This one is a little larger. IMO, I would put a helical on the goggles if you are looking for range rather than a patch.

If it is getting the gain they are stating on that page, then yes, it's a good antenna. But I have never heard of them. Just remember, these are VERY directional with a very narrow FOV. So you must always be looking, or pointing in the direction of the quad for best reception.

It will be used to replace the crap aomway sqaure that came with my goggles. I guess it will be better.

My antennas came in today the patch antenna looks to be decent quality but looks mean nothing. The clover leaf ones look like the aomways with a cap.

How dumb... I bought the wrong antennas. I didn't know I needed RP-SMA. Now I gotta send them back.

Or just get an adapter. It's always handy to have an adapter. I have a bunch of them.
