Yes, my videos are the Align 3GX. I have never done the 3SX. Never had one in my hands to play with.

I fly 2 of 3 heli's on Spartan Vortex. Well worth the money. The Vx1e also has a mini USB so no need for additional data pod costs

The vortex only needs one pod to program all your gyros. You do not need multiple pods. In case you did not know. So if you bought two you now have a spare.

I didn't buy one at all... which is the point I'm making, if you buy the Vx1e (yellow version) you don't need a data pod at all as it connects to a laptop via USB. The Vx1n (red version) needs a data pod to program it.

A lot of folks think they need one pod for each unit.

I personally prefer the no laptop option. Power at the field is at a premium. So if I can get a pod, radio or Bluetooth to my cell that would be awesome.

Then again I am spoiled by radio integration.

Prefer a laptop as you can actually read the display....
I have a battery in my laptop so no need for power supply (although we do have 2 generators at our field if needed).

My laptop battery is on the verge of needing replaced.

I have my own portable power source but I leave that for my flight packs.
