Blade Mcp X Maiden Flight
Hello everyone, Well, I have been waiting for a long time for this helicopter to come out, and now that it has, it's been worth the wait. This helicopter for a collective pitch heli, is one of the most stable little guys there is.
Now, even though it's a collective pitch, it can still fly on less than 6 channels. The radio that it comes with is less than my DX6i. When I set it up on my radio, I had to do it with 90*-1 servo, and not 120*-3 servo. I found this weird, but all of the mixing is done within the board that is on the heli.
The instruction book gives you most of the starting settings to get this thing in the air with your DX6i, DX7, and DX8. There is also instructions for a Non Computer Radio. So, they have just about covered everything.
Now, some people have had problems with some of the parts on this heli. But, with the exception of breaking one of the blade grip links when the blade hit the carpet, I have had zero problems, and nothing is coming loose anywhere.
Now granted, I have only put about 3 packs through this heli, but I can assure you there will be a lot more to come. The next calm day, I'm taking this thing outside, and testing out both sets of blades that it comes with.
The blades that were installed when I got it were the 3D blades. It also comes with a set of FFF (Fast Forward Flight, or just Fast Flight) blades, and I'm interested to see if there really is a difference. I'm going to do the exact same tests (forward flight, FFF, and some loops and maybe inverted) with both sets. I can't wait for all that to happen lol.
