Misc. Confused

I got an AR 8000 Spektrum receiver and the only way i can make it work properly is in 11 ms instead of 22 like all my other receivers, it's in a Cessna 188 ag wagon, all servos work great but if i put it back in 22 ms, servos act like robotic, i need to 1 :understand, 2 : is there a problem flying the plane in that setup?
First time i encouter that situation, the thing is i don't want to crash my plane, thanks for any input.

Way back when I was flying my helicopters with spektrum, I seem to remember having to run my AR8000s on 11ms as well. I never had any issues with them on 11ms.

Yes, I was using them about 10 or so years ago, and I`m pretty sure they were discontinued quite a while ago.
