Below is the link to all of Rc-Helps DX8 videos. If you can think of any videos that you would like to see, post them up and I will get them made.

Tnks rdsok.... I was just getting ready to reply back to Tony.
Create a thread in the car and truck section and let us know what equipment you will be using. I know you are using a DX8, but what Rx, what motor and ESC (unless nitro or gas), what servos and what functions you want the truck to have. Once I have a better understanding of exactly what you are trying to build, I may be able to make a video to help out (with a DX9, but could get a DX8 if it is absolutely necessary). Can't wait to see your post, and thank you for the suggestion. Hope I can come up with something good.
Ah copy that. I will try to check it out tomorrow and see what I can do. Had a few minutes to spare tonight and thought I would catch up a bit on here. Things are about to change though. Hopefully for the better.
You will need to set your DX8 so that the throttle centers. You can do it without taking the case apart, but might be easier to take the back off the Tx so you can see what you are doing. Basically just mirror the elevator setup with the spring. Then, you will need to calibrate your ESC to the Tx so that it knows where N is as well as F and R. If you don't have any luck, I will try and read though the manual of the ESC and possibly borrow a DX8 so that I can show you what I'm talking about.Tony, I have a DX8 Gen 2 transmitter, I have an AR 8110 t receiver. Standard Tamiya motor brushed, with a dynamite 60 a waterproof forward reverse brushed electronic speed controller Horizon Hobbies.savox servo for steering. Not too much concerned about multiple functions at the moment, the problem in lies with the fact that I cannot get dual Direction out of my motor. Meaning if I push the stick forward the wheels go forward if I pull the stick back the wheels go forward, and vice versa if I invert the program or change the leads on the motor. I've done a model reset, have even tried different modes, I have switched sticks around and even switch stick functions, regardless of what I try I have the same results.
And not to be a pain in the ass, but I have spent the last couple of days on the phone with Horizon Hobbies they claimed to have duplicated my setup and had gotten it to work, I'm just perplexed. You will need to set your DX8 so that the throttle centers. And I love helping people, that is why I created this site. Just give me a bit of time and I will see what I can get done in helping with your issue. At this time, it's time to hit the sack and deliver this load first thing in the morning.
