Spektrum Failsafe receiver

Can any one in here tell me if you can put one of those fail safe receiver by spektrum in a helicopter, and be able to use it.

By fail safe, do you mean something like AS3X, with self level?

That is what i was thing about. When i fly heli'o i need all the help i can get. And thanks for the come back Geena.

I`ve never seen or heard of anyone installing those into a larger helicopter. That`s not to say it can`t be done. But you may be ahead of the game to just get a FBL controller that has auto level built into it.

To sort of define what is actually referred to with a receiver with failsafe... Is one that has a setting that when the receiver looses a signal from a transmitter, it sets all the channels to a predefined setting. For example say in an airplane, it may reduce the throttle and put the plane in a slight turn so it lands but also stays relatively close to where it lost signal. Pretty different than something that has self leveling etc.
