The throttle linkage is on the right spot the issue I was having his not getting it set right. and getting it to idle was a very high idle and when I was driving it today it du Soleil dies after takeoff and almost full throttleHey Brandon, sorry for the late post.
The throttle linkage is correct on the bottom side the issue I was having was not sitting it correctly. and finally still working on the idle speed one driving around it casually suddenly dies driving almost full throttle it just suddenly stalls And I think the slipper clutch is giving me issues
As for the wheels spinning with no throttle, it sounds like the throttle is too high or the low end needle is too lean, or both.
okHey there Brandon. When I had my Savage 4.6, a full turn is a full turn. My savage was 1 1/4 turn. Try one full turn and see what happens.
tyI'm going a little further than what Tony said... The number of turns listed in the manual is the STARTING place from where you start tuning the engine. Each one is slightly different and will have different settings but you need a place to start from. So it's sort of an art when it comes to dialing in a air/fuel mixture. In addition, each day has slightly different pressure, temperature and moisture... so the setting you had yesterday that may have been perfect, will be slightly different today or tomorrow.
