Prop Installing A Propeller

does is matter which way an APC prop is installed? If there is a front and back , is the front the side that has the prop size imprinted on it?

Yes, it is very important. The correct way will give full thrust where reversed, you would be lucky to get 25% thrust. And yes, the numbers are printed on the front. They should always point towards the front of the plane or face up on a quad.
