I was doing a little surfing on the net and found a few places that carry ESC's that are reflashed just for multirotors.
The firmware was wrote by Simon Kirby and he goes by the name of Simonk on most forums.
His firmware means direct, linear throttle response, making it suitable for multicopter use.
Up to 600Hz input rate is supported, with immediate updates to motor pwm duty.
Less high pitched motor Whine.
