Look what I purchased at local r/c club auction

Today Sunday Nov. 29th I went to a club auction and for $30 dollars this is what I purchased, a piece of American history **** GMP Cricket no longer in production vintage 1980's

Wow, I bet that thing is a nightmare to fly compared to todays helicopters! Nice find though. Are you going to try to fly it, or just use it as a shelf piece?

@ Tony.. I'm going to update the servos, install gyro, change some linkages, just a light restoration. It just go's to show there is still alot of helicopters (vintage) out their for updating, or restore, or just look at on the shelf in your man cave, that's why I posted my find for others to search, I don't want a piece of history to end up in the landfill*** Thanks for reading Frank from Massachusetts

Wow did not realize how big those are. I only heard about them through RCHN and those were more micro. Nice find, I would just clean it up and shelf queen it. Those I believe were hand fabricated.
