Soldering Jig For RC Connectors

There are other types on the market, here is one that I like the look of.

As it says, being thermosetting plastic, (NOT thermoplastic) it doesn't absorb the heat so the joint doesn't cool down.

I use "the jig up"... I like it very much!

I have a piece of wood with holes drilled in it.
It was cheap and is easily replaceable.

I have a scrap piece of wood also. I drilled out some holes and bam, no more heat loss. I really like the smell the wood puts off when you get to close too.

I use a jog I got from Radio shack like 20 years ago. Has articulating arms with alligator clips to hold the connector and the wire together and has a nice Magnifying glass on it to help my old eyes see better. Sort of like this one. I paid like $20 for mine, now they are cheap on Amazon. Under $7
