Misc. Vbar NEO won't connect to PC.

Been a while since I've used a Vbar. Picked up a NEO new and have spent hours trying to get it to connect to the PC. I have done all the steps, registration, updates, installed the key file into the vbar folder. I get a green USB light but no green connection light. Just ridicules that hobby grade electronics should be this difficult to set up. Any ideas. Thanks all

The most common cause of USB connection issues are caused by the type of USB cable being used or a bad cable. USB cable come in two types ( other than the types of connectors they have )... a full data and power type cable.... and the type meant to only be used for power like many chargers come with.

So make sure the cable you are using supports both data and power.

Then of course cables do often go bad... so no matter what cable you are using it with, test with a different device to verify it actually works.

I went and downloaded a new key file and lo and behold it connected. Not really sure what was up but it works....
