I have a silicone mat that I use when I'm doing any soldering to keep flux spatter off of my desk and to protect my desk. But, pulling the solder out is a two hand job, so I decided to make a quick little solder spool holder.
This holder is made for a solder that is pretty old. RadioShack 1mm 1lb spool. It's got some age on it lol. So I designed it to fit this spool, and to fit in a 44mm x 48mm pocket labeled "Parts" on my silicone mat. I put a 17mm recess in the top to hold my solder wick. This likely is not a standard, but it fits the wick that I have.
On my X1C, this is a 31m 46s print with all the leveling, flow calibration and lidar checks. So it's a quick print. I have included the file in case this may help you out. The Center Shaft is 19mm (I have tried 20mm, 17mm and 18mm as well lol).
