Hi all,

Just discovered this site.
Started a Bixler 2 build.
First plane - steep learning curve!
Does anyone know if there is a flying club in the Mandurah Western Australia area?

Looking forward to gaining some more knowledge of flying (not that I've flown yet )

Being building the blixler 2 over the last 4 months just a bit at a time.
Have done all the suggested mods so all most ready to fly.
Probably will not use flaps at first.
Going to look for a field big enough to fly safely in the area.

Make sure to download the RCH Trainer and give it a shot as well. Takes 3 sheets of foam board. Just click on the Store button above and scroll all the way down to download it. Hope to see some pictures soon.
 
Hi there, Rolan! Welcome to the forum! That Bixler 2 is really suppose to be a great flyer. I've seen people use them for training new pilots, sport flying, and even FPV flying. I hope you have fun with the build. Since I am in the USA, I have no idea of any place to fly in Australia, but I can tell you that we have 2-3 active members from Australia. Maybe they can help you find an appropriate place to fly.
