Got a bit bored so decided to spring clean my 550e Going to reroute the wires and clean everything

I should really do this on my 500. I enjoyed the build so something like this would be fun, too. I'd like to clean up the wires, too.

Waiting on the tail rotor shaft bearings. Ordered from HK UK and still coming from abroad??Align order posted for same x 4(8 bearings) hopefully in todays post

I think I would have stuck with pucca Align bearings not HK ones Graham a few more sheckles but prob a fair bit better quality.

I have ordered the Align ones which will come today or tomorrow HK as back up Problem I see is they are coming from the same country and unless you know who where etc they could be from the same factory?? It is always possible.

With my background I can tell a good bearing from a cheap/bad one. A lot of manufacturers and distributers are cutting costs by going cheap Chinese or Russian

Agreed, the bearings I was getting in the microheli 130x stuff were like butter, lasted no time at all.

Thanks Derek been that long since I did a build I forgot how much I loved building She needed a good going over

Now to fly her woke at 5.30 am the weather was good, don't think the neighbours would appreciate a 530 spool up of a 550
07.18 now and the forecasted rain looks as if its not far away
