with the 450 heli sitting on the test bench I plug the battery in and the tail blades will slide left I move them to the right and they slide back the opposite direction. The gyro is a 780 transmitter is a DX8. The servo is a futaba 5925. Thanks for the help

Is there a chance that you could post a video? This sounds similar to what my 600 is doing.

Its called servo creep.
Go into your rudder sub trim menu.
Add or subtract trim until the servo doesn't drift one way or the other, but stay still after you move the rudder stick and release it.

That would be a simple fix. :hdbng:

I've setup my 500 and my 450 and I never saw anything like this before. While setting up my 600, that darn tail servo tends to wander off. I forget which way it was going but I would center it and, within 10-12 seconds, it has wandered off to the side again, causing the tail rotor to move. I'm glad that Murray brought this up because I kept forgetting to ask about it, lol.

Thanks Lee!

Hello Murray,
My heli was doing the same thing, and I must say, this has been a real pain to set up! See my post below yours!! After an epic fail at the weekend, I have been through everything again, I cant work out what had changed so much that it sent the heli spinning all over the place on spool up. My servo was creeping too, most annoying, but I stumbled on the fix just before reading your answer here Lee, just 5% of trim fixed it!!I'm still not sure what will happen when spooling, training gear back on I think, dont want any more blades smacking the ground.

That's awesome, Murray! I haven't made the adjustment to my 600 yet but I will certainly do the same. Im glad to hear it's worked for you!
