Hi.Building another trainer.Slightly modified to try and sort out the balance problem.Moved the sloping "window" back by 11/2 inches at the top and 1 inch at the bottom to give a longer nose.Also I am going to position the leading edge of the wing 1/2 an inch behind the top of the "window".I am also building it out of 6mm Depron.This is actually cheaper over here than foam board,£6 as opposed to £8.The foam board we get over here has quite thick paper covering it and so is quite heavy.Thinking of covering the Depron with craft paper stuck on with PVA glue to give a nice surface for painting.

Let me know how this one flies. Better yet, post a video of the maiden if you can. Using depron will make it much lighter, just make sure to use a 6mm spar (or so) in the wing. Use a 3-4mm on the tail. It should prove to fly much better than the heavy foam board. Can't wait to see it in the air.
